Moss on the roof can cause many issues blocked gutters being the obvious one moss being blown into the gutters blocking the downpipe preventing the water from running freely. This can cause the water to spill over or receed into the fascia and cause damp inthe property. With the rain moss absorbs the water and expands mixed with cold water this causes the tiles to move or crack under the pressure allowing water to penetrate the attic. We scrape the moss clear from the roof with scrapers made to the profile of the roof tile, we then clear the gutters and apply a biodegradable preventable treatment to the roof this is label compliant and will help to prevent regrowth. After a few weather cycles around 6 weeks the roof tiles will return to their original colour!
